Pharmacy Technician
This program will prepare you to be employed as a pharmacy technician in community and hospital pharmacies. You will gain knowledge relevant to the technical and clerical aspects of the pharmacy profession, including inventory management, pharmacy software, and third party billing. Throughout the program interpersonal communication is stressed and evaluated along with other skills in extensive on-site laboratory sessions and during the workplace practicum.
The Pharmacy Technician program is a 72-week, diploma granting program which includes an 8-week work term.

The Grand Falls-Windsor campus is currently seeking Accreditation of their Pharmacy Technician program through The Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs.
