| 9/29/2009 | | Keyin College, Clarenville Campus raises $1925.50 in Support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation | Keyin College, Clarenville Campus is pleased to acknowledge the support of the students and staff in fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The team participated in the Big Bike Ride Event and raised an outstanding $1925.50 for the cause which is double their efforts from the previous year.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation holds the Big Bike Ride event each September. Teams across Newfoundland ride the 30 seat bike around their town to promote awareness and raise funds. The event brings families, friends and co-workers together for a fun day and a heart filled bike ride.
Following the event, Staff and Students at the Clarenville Campus gathered for a nutritional break. Steven Keats and Rob Morrissette from the Heart and Stroke Foundation joined the event and thanked the students and staff for their efforts.
