Keyin College announced today that it has acquired Corona College’s post-secondary skills training division.

June 22, 2012 – Grand Falls-Windsor – Keyin College announced today that it has acquired Corona College’s post-secondary skills training division.  All of the College’s post-secondary programs will now be offered through Keyin College, Grand Falls-Windsor Campus.

“Keyin College will continue to focus on delivering industry based, post-secondary training programs throughout Newfoundland and Labrador,” said Des Whelan, President of Keyin College.  “This acquisition ensures that Keyin will be a part of the Central Newfoundland education scene for many years to come.”

The new programs for Keyin College include Mining Programs, Primary Care Paramedic, Hairstyling and Esthetics which will be added to current program offerings such as Occupational Health and Safety, Pharmacy Technician, and Funeral Director/Embalmer.  This expansion allows Keyin College to further focus on growing labour market areas.

Keyin College began educating students on March 17, 1980 and rapidly became a leading private, post-secondary college in Newfoundland and Labrador.  Today, Keyin College has eight campuses and five adult learning centers province wide.
