On July 4, 2016, Harry Wiseman, Occupational Health and Safety student at Keyin College Grand Falls-Windsor campus, received the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals Scholarship of $4,000; as well as a credit coupon issued in his name for the value of the CRSP Application Fee.

The purpose of the BCRSP Scholarship Program is to enable students to enter the OHS profession in support of creating the healthiest and safest workplaces in the world, to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students in OHS, and to raise awareness of the CRSP certification amongst OHS students and faculty.

In recognition of the program that Harry attended, the BCRSP is presenting a $1,000 award to Keyin College’s Occupational Health and Safety Program.  The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals hopes this award will encourage and assist other students to enroll in the program and also bring awareness of the health and safety professional in today’s workplace.

On behalf of all Keyin College staff and students throughout the province, congratulations to Harry on another tremendous accomplishment; we wish you great success in all your future endeavors.  Congratulations to our Grand Falls-Windsor faculty, staff and administration for your constant support and dedication to your students!
